'So close' is a flick about three kick ass kung fu chicks i think..

i'm so freaking bored.

i have 40 minutes left of work and then i get to go whatever i want!

which i'm not sure i even have a clue about.

i don't feel like going home straight away...too much to do.

i might so to Mountain design or some such and buy some new thermals...

scootering is proving very fun but very cold in the mornings

we spelt in way to much this morning and i was about 25 minutes late to wrok

I think that it truly is the case that all the clocks int he house are wrong.

like i look at the clock as i walk out the dorr and its 8.50 and i go to the sccoter and it says 9.01am

that's a huge amount of lost time

i have been ebaying up a storm... coz there are hardly any calls... i spend ages just going through all the listings... and buying stupid things.

i almost bid on a piano accordian.

i would love an accordian.

i really need to sort out my time a bit better int he afternoon.

i get home and just crash and burn.

and it sux.

so either i stay out and do stufff... or i go home and watch days of our lives...

going to see the chinese medicine dr tomorrow.

i have been feeling really crappy lately.
and everything i eat makes my stomach hurt.

stoopid everything

i'm so sick of this on going general not being well crap.

i'm so tired and cranky and all i want to do is whinge and complain.

waa waa waa

poor me.

and i'm angry at nothing too.

bloody buggery crud

i want to go to QLD for a few weeks or a month....

live on a yacht and get all over sunburn.

:)

but firstly i am going to get that bag i so badly want.

oh i've been buying things on Ebay again...

i got a Cure tape for $2.50 and i got a 3D camera for $26 - the same one i saw for $209 on the weekend.

so i am very happy

i have nothing to say

Sunday, August 03, 2003

i have a whole bunch of whatever in my pocket.

we are currently sitting down watching some movie called the transporter.

i don't really want to watch it.... but i suspsect i will.

had a very varied day. as usual.

we did a few loads of washing
made some phone calls...

then we scootered over to the showgrounds again to check out the second day of the dog show.

yesterday hamish suggested that psychologists could make a living ambulance chasing at dogs shows.... i suspect he's right

but i still love them

its like nothing else i've ever experienced before.

i have a glass of cab merlo balanced precuriously (is that even an word?? i haen't got o the part where i've had lots of beer and some wine...)

so anyway, the dog show....

it was like yesterday's dog show really.

we got there a bit later in the day than yesterday and being a sunday there were one million people around...

mostly people going to the computer market nerd fair and chris and marie's plant farm and the leather sale the toy sale and the best bit....

the HIGHLAND CATTLE SOCIETY MEET

IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOL

i so badly want a highland cow!!

the whole show ring culture is amazing to me....

i love the idea...and loath the idea.

the only reason i dont htink i do it myself is that i'm lazy.....and that there is no way i'd use my own pets for the cause.

but if it was a cow i don't think i'd be as attached to it as i am my dogs...

but t the same time....the dog show types all seem to reallyreally love there pets

i would love to show clea... she'd love it.

but Io would prolly win more stuff.

but still i don't know that i would put either of my dogs in the show circuit,

i owuld however think seriously about getting a third dog for show purposes.

something like a Puli or even another chinese crested.

hmmmmm that's not a bad idea

maybe i will..

so anyway we watched some of the standard poodles being judges and then we scooterd off and found the highland cattle society cow judging....and watched some of that.

i love that stuff.....

its' fucking hilarious

and just kinda cool in a nerdy way i guess.

but HELLO nerds are us!

so anyway to the bit where we got very drunk

we wenthome after the showground stuff and got the dogs and then picked up a couple of burger and took the dogs for a run at the footy oval...

then i wanted to go to spotlight to see if i could find some material to make the dogs some little pajama's

but they were insanely busy and i ended up window shopping for a whole dream of stuff.

so finally iget to the drinking.

we got home dropped off the dogs and then walked over to the geebung.

we rangDan but he was a the footy.

so matt and I had a few quiet ales to soothe our souls

its funny how the first beer goes down wuickly and then all of a sudden your top of the world and drinking with the best of them

moslty i am full of shit and really drunk

i'm guessing that none of this even makes sendse'

this trnasporter movie is prety average.

tomorrow i have to work.

matty has a big presentation at 8am and so we have to be at work early.

i am planning on going to that art supplies place gertrude street... or is it nicholson st

so anyway

there is this thing i'm going to do

before the end of next year i am going to have my own exhibition/

that's right.... MY OWN EXHIBITION!!!!

what time is love???

its 10.39am

on a sunday morning.... and i'm doing the laundry and watching a documentary about hacking with my very fantastic husband.

i'm having another one of thsoe I'm so happy in love moments....weekends even

yesterday was a very very perfect day.

got up early and we scootered into the docklands...had a coffee....BIG BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!

i was all fucked up for the rest of the day... bu the crash and burn didn't start til about 4pm

so anyway i has on a coffee high and all was right int he world!

first stop after the docklands was the SPAN gallery.

there are some -[= (clea did that)

nywa there is is a an exhibition by this modern chinese caligrapher...some beautiful pieces..

very expensive pieces...

next door is a shop/gallery called "craft Vicotia"

there is this really funny exhibit right in the back..... go see it,

so much stuff in that place that ican so make and do myself.

i was telling matt that maybe the reason i used to be so much more roductive int he old days was because i was always bouncing with stimulants in my youth..

maybe the crash and burn.. the paranoia hyperventilation and general feeling of nausea is worth it if i can et more out of my day...

whatever

so after that we went to Fed square..... wentto the ACMI shop. they have some reallyr really cool stuff....
there is this kick-ass bag that i want and some cameras... like a 3D camera...

and a really cool t-shirt too..

so then we decided it was time to get home.... but first we went past the show grounds coz there was a big Dog show going on ....

it was cool.

then we went home and cleaned and matt cooked and Hamish came over and we had a lovely lunch.

and some vodka.

Hamish left just b4 6pm and we went to teh video shop.

got out spy Kids 2 and frida..... both were really good, in different ways obviously.

i realy enjoyed Frida.

gotta make a phone call...
